I worked with Sam on a small project that we called “Make Your Own Liverpool.” Over a series of five creative sessions we worked with the EMTAS Young Learners in collaboration with Liverpool Maritime Museum.
Our video of the project is being shown this week as part of Refugee Week at World Museum Liverpool: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 2.30pm.
In one of the exercises we asked the participants to cut out cardboard models of Liverpool city landmarks which they had mentioned the previous week.
This short video excerpt shows some of the interesting negotiations which occurred as the group had to decide how to position the landmarks in relation to one another.
